Paul Selden, Ph. D.
President & CEO
Dr. Selden has over thirty years of experience working with the homeless in New York and Illinois. He was a founder of the National Coalition for the Homeless, and was the first Director of the Chicago Continuum of Care. He comes to Neumann after 9 years as Executive Director of Connections for the Homeless in Evanston. He has many years of providing housing and services for individuals with mental illness. He is currently on the board of Housing Action Illinois.
Dr. Selden holds a doctorate in Social Ethics from USC, and undergraduate BA from Yale. In addition to running four agencies Dr. Selden has been a researcher, a consultant, an advocate, and a volunteer—all around issues related to homelessness, mental illness, and housing for people with disabilities.

Paul Naye, CPA, M.M.
Chief Financial Officer
Neumann Family Services is pleased to announce that Paul Naye has joined the organization as Chief Financial Officer effective February, 2016. He touts more than 20 years of experience in senior and executive financial positions with his latest role at Thresholds, a leading mental health service provider, where he led a team as its Controller for six- plus years.
Paul holds his Master’s in Management (with distinction) from the JL Kellogg school of Management at Northwestern University and earned his undergraduate degree in Public Accounting from Loyola University of Chicago. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.
Paul is most enthused to ignite the passion of the Neumann team and help individuals who are developmentally and mentally disabled achieve the best quality of life possible.
Director of Human Resources
Sheila J. Grant joins Neumann Family Services as Director of Human Resources. Sheila has expansive programmatic and operational experience. She first began her career at Neumann Family Services over 25 years ago. While at Neumann Family Services from 1986-1996, Sheila worked in DD services and increasingly gained experience as she advanced in all programmatic capacities in roles ranging from Behavior Specialist to Director of DT. Sheila transitioned from her wide-ranging roles within programs at Neumann Family Services to eventually serve as the agency's Assistant Director of Human Resources. Sheila continued to expand her role within the field of social services at Clearbrook where she was employed from 1996-2004 as Director of Training and Director of Developmental Training.
Prior to returning to Neumann Family Services, Sheila was at Henry Booth House from 2006-2015 where she served as Social Service for Head Start, Purchasing and Operations Manager and Interim HR Director. Sheila Grant holds a Masters in Urban Ministry as well as a Masters in Christian Studies.
